Biography
Yvonne Sterrett was born and raised in Kobe, Japan and was recently surprised to discover that she has now lived in Beaver County for the exact same period of time. She is a graduate of Canadian Academy and holds a B.S. in Music Education from Geneva College with a concentration in voice. Yvonne has taught in the Big Beaver Falls Area School District since 1999 and is currently the Middle School and High School Choral Director. She also directs the annual spring musical at Beaver Falls, and has served as vocal director and pianist for numerous high schools in Beaver and Allegheny counties and at Geneva College. Some of her recent productions include Cinderella, Little Women, Beauty and the Beast, Seussical, Les Miserables, Working, Pirates of Penzance and Quilters. She is currently vying for the role of favorite aunt to her crazy nephew and adorable niece. Yvonne has been a member of the Pittsburgh Camerata since 1997 and holds the title of Lord High Executioner in all matters pertaining to attendance.
